Yesterday, Scott and I drove up to Waco to attend my cousin, Jake's, wedding... It was such a beautiful day with sunshine and blue skies and not too warm... A perfect day for a drive...and a perfect day for a wedding! The ceremony was held in a Catholic church...(the first time for either Scott or I to attend one like that) Half of the discourse was in Spanish, but I could understand bits and pieces of it here and there... Jake looked so handsome...and Karla was like a princess! Weddings are such neat occasions...especially as they help to remind us about what's really important in this life: God and one another...
Congratulations again, Jake and Karla! May God bless you both as you enter this new stage of your lives!

A photo of the cake itelf - just gorgeous! (I was thinking of Kara when I took it...I knew she'd appreciate it! And, that cake tasted delicious, too! It was different layers of white and then, chocolate cake...YUM!)
