Yesterday, I sat and chatted with one of my dear friends, Pamela, on the phone for about 45 minutes...and it was wonderful! It's so nice to catch up with people when you haven't spoken with them for a while... And, it's especially nice when the person you're spea
king with is a great Christian girlfriend with whom you've shared many laughs and experiences and prayers... Pamela and I were on the same reading plan, going through the Bible, so we used to meet once a week to discuss and share what the Holy Spirit had revealed to us as we read... What an encouraging time for the both of us! I was really so blessed by those "hour-or-so" meetings when I'd pick Pamela up from work, and we'd drive to have lunch and chat at the park nearby... Real fellowship...real fellowship...is so entirely sweet...especially when it's centered around God's Word... Thanks, Pamela, for sharing your time and heart with me!
And, thank You, Lord, for allowing Pamela and I to meet and encourage one another in that way... Thank You for the growth that I know we both experienced... And, thank You for leaving us Your Word to read and experience and live by...

Stephanie,I was just looking through your blogs and never expected to see myself in one of them! I just want you to know that I too am so thankful that God has put you in my life. I don't think I ever really grasped the kind of friendship that could truly exist until we became friends. Being able to not only be your friend, but your sister in Christ is awesome! Seeing how God used you so many times in my life- and just being able to share so much with you has blessed me so much! We have both grown in the Lord and now you are preparing for motherhood.. how i wish i could be near you during this special time. I really miss our get-togethers by the park and sharing the Word together.. but I know that we can still be prayer warriors for each other and that helps me stay excited and not sad. :) I hope we can see each other soon. Love you!
