Baby Update - 36 weeks...

Yesterday was my 36-week appointment...and everything's still looking great... Although I have gained quite a bit of weight since my last appointment, the doctor assures me that I'm right on track...so that's a good thing... Part of that weight gain is actually from Baby Ross growing so much...(and the other part is the result of eating about 4 dozen Christmas cookies!) The baby's heartbeat is still good and strong...and my belly just continues to get bigger and bigger! I took a short tour of the labor and delivery area at the hospital after my appointment, so I could get familiar with the area and procedures... And, then, I headed downstairs to fill out all the pre-admission paperwork, so we don't have to worry about it later when I've already gone into labor... I'm really glad that's all taken care of...'cause there sure is a ton of stuff you have to fill out! All the appointments in two weeks were already full, so the OB clinic should be calling on Monday to let me know when they can fit me in for my 38-week appointment... I need to start putting my "bag" together to take with me to the hospital, so it's all ready...just in case... But, now...all that's really left to do is wait... Baby Ross should be on the way soon!
