Yesterday was just so nice! I decided sometime ago that I really wanted to schedule a "Me" day for myself before Baby Ross arrives...a day, spent alone, doing exactly what I wanted to do... So, that's just what I did!
I started the day off yesterday by playing Sudoku...(yes, I was playing it again!) Breakfast was scrambled eggs, bacon, and toast, lovingly prepared by Mom... Afterward, I went for a walk around the neighborhood in the 35 degree weather...(I love the cold!)...then I came home and took an extra long shower and did some pampering... I got all "dolled up"...ate a quick lunch...and headed out the door... I was off to do some window shopping at a few stores here and there...and I took my time... But, what I'd really been wanting to do took place over at Barnes & Noble... I wanted to be one of those people in the store...just sitting and relaxing and reading a book in one of those giant comfy chairs...the people I see every time I go in there and always wish I could be like, but I never seem to have the time or inclination to join them... So, yesterday, I made it my goal to do just that... I went in...found a couple books I was interested in...bought them...and sunk myself down in a chair over near the travel section... It was wonderful! I read through the introduction of one book...then, switched over and started reading through the other one...all the while, savoring the smells that always make me smile while I'm there - fresh brewed coffee and new books... After spending a good while there, I drove over to my 3pm appointment - a prenatal massage my mom had set up for me as a gift! It was heavenly! The massage therapist worked and worked and worked on my back and especially my shoulders...and I feel SO much better... Thanks, Mom, for thinking of me! After the massage, there was only one thing left on my "list" that I really wanted to do... I'd been craving a Wendy's Frosty for the last few months and just had never stopped to get one...so I was off on a quest to finally set my craving to ease... And, after wanting one for that long, it sure did taste mighty good! I think I must've inhaled it... The rest of the evening was just spent relaxing after such a wonderful day...
With less than three weeks now till my due date, I'm not sure when the next time will be that I'll get to have a day like yesterday... So, I'm extremely glad and grateful that I was able to enjoy myself the way I did...
At 37 weeks, after my lovely "Me" Day

I'm so excited for you guys!
Your "Me" day sounds great! Yes, definitely enjoy your time right now. You won't get another one for at least 3 to 4 months, before life is normal again.
I had a prenatal massage too. It was great.
You look great!
