Thoughts...

-- I really enjoyed reading "Blue Like Jazz" for the RCCC Ladies' Book Club, and I'm looking forward to discussing it this Friday night... I think Donald Miller and I actually have a lot in common...

-- I'm getting exasperated with trying to finally finish up our family newsletter and gather all the addresses we need to send it out with the birth announcements we had printed for Kassia... Yes, I know she was born back in January...and it's now almost May! But, I figure that there are still some friends of ours out there...(who we really are only in contact with maybe once a year)...that haven't heard our wonderful news and would like to see her sweet pictures... So, hopefully, everything will get sent out soon...

-- I'm having to wait until next Monday for the GE repairman to visit once again...this time to figure out what's wrong with our dryer... Until then, there will be a load of stinky moldy laundry, hanging out in my washing machine...(unless, that is, I discover a way to hang up or drape tons of towels and sheets so they can dry somewhere else)

-- Kassia is growing so fast! And, I can't stop her! She's learning to reach out and grab things with her hands now...it's really quite fascinating... I love that she wants to touch my hands when I pat her or rub her belly... It's so neat to have her respond physically, instead of just letting her appendages flail about... She's also just about sitting up on her own and really laughed out loud for the first time last night! It was SO cute!

-- "House" was on for the first time since the Superbowl yesterday evening... I was surprised at how much I'd missed his mind games and sarcasm... There's just something about a doctor being that brilliant and yet, that mean... We have our digital cable set up now to record it every Monday night, just in case we miss it...

-- I'm going to pick up Kassia's first set of professional baby pictures tomorrow, and I'm so excited to get them!

-- There's a counter full of dishes downstairs just waiting to be washed...I wonder who will do them?!

Alright, enough of my random thoughts for the day!
