It was such a gorgeous day today! And, it was warm and pleasant without all that humidity... Kassia and I spent the afternoon over at my parents' house, just relaxing... Mom and I went to Target while Kassia and Papa (my dad) took a nap...and I was finally able to find a pair of sunglasses that "worked"...(I have the hardest time finding ones that actually look right and fit my face...) And, I stopped by the library and picked up my copy of "Blue Like Jazz" that I'd placed on hold... I've already finished the first chapter, and I'm really interested to see how the rest of the book will play out... I'm reading it because it's RCCC's Ladies' Book Club selection of the month... I've never been part of a book club before, but I always wanted to be...so now's my chance... If anyone else wants to join in, just grab the book and start reading...and I think we're all getting together on May 2nd to discuss it... Alrighty, well, this sweet baby on my lap is starting to get impatient with her mommy, so I'll catch ya'll later!

I liked Blue Like Jazz - Donald Miller cracks me up. My favorite part of the book was the 'confession booth' at Reed College...so interesting.
That's funny Kara; that's the part of the book that immediately came to my memory too. I'll be anxious to hear what you think of it Steph. Maybe you can put a "book review" of it on your blog :)
