Have I mentioned before how much I love "gray" and/or rainy days?
I adore them.
The weather lately has been utterly wonderful, and I'm so enjoying it! (except for the fact that all the people in San Antonio who don't know how to drive - which is probably about 90% of them - are even crazier when the road's are wet!) Cloudy days inspire me... I love being inside on days like that...it helps me get all kinds of things done...(and gives me a "reason" for being in the house) I also love it, because when I actually do go outside for whatever reason, I don't have to squint or wear sunglasses if I don't want to... And, when I'm inside looking outside, even though I know it's a bazillion degrees and HOT, I can pretend that it's actually 40 degrees and chilly...and COLD always makes me smile... Days like yesterday and today are great days for reading...watching movies...being lazy...or doing projects you've been wanting to do and just never seem to get around to... Plus, the smell of rain is so fresh...and the colors after it rains are so bold... Yes, I could go on and on...about all the reasons why I absolutely adore days like these...(but I'm sure that I'm still not convincing most of you to turn from your sun-worshipping ways...) Ah well... Here's some sunshine for those of you that need it - hope this brightens your day:

Adorable! I'm glad that your days of gray are here.. we're also having several over here. Wouldn't it be nice to bake some cookies and have a movie day?
Pamela - Yep, that sounds wonderful! Wanna come over tomorrow afternoon? I'll even provide all the ingredients for the cookies...and graciously offer to taste-test them if you bake them...*grins* C'mon, it'll be fun!
