Long day...

5:30am - Woke up this morning and couldn't go back to sleep
6:55am - Sent Scott off to work with a prayer, hug, and a kiss
7:01am - Called my friend, Emiley, in Germany to chat and catch up while ironing my uniform shirts and folding my laundry (I always seem to call her while I'm ironing! She's become my "ironing buddy"...)
8:15am - Hung up with Emiley after a very long and satisfying phone conversation and went upstairs to change into my track pants and running shoes
8:35am - Read a little in Zechariah while waiting for my mom to wake up and drink her first cup of coffee
9:00am - Went for a walk with Mom around the neighborhood
9:45am - Returned from our walk completely famished and ready for some water and food!
10:00am - Sat down to eat breakfast (cinnamon toast...yum!) and to chat
10:33am - Started reading and got through 3 more chapters in Zechariah
11:02am - Helped Mom with her "bi-annual extreme cleaning" (this is the cleaning that's done before all the major holidays...especially before the Christmas decorations are put out) - I worked on the base-boards
12:15pm - Drove to the bank to deposit a couple of checks
1:00pm - Came back home and packed my "dinner" to eat later at work
1:15pm - Layed down to take a nap for an hour and 15 minutes
2:30pm - Woke up, jumped in the shower, and did my makeup and got dressed for work
3:22pm - Sat down to eat a PB&J
3:38pm - Left for work
3:41pm - Got stuck in traffic that was leaving a middle school (it was crazy! I think all the parents were trying to get home as quickly as possible to get everything all settled before the "trick-or-treating" began...)
3:48pm - Still stuck in the same spot!
3:49pm - Traffic finally started moving
3:51pm - Called work to let them know I might be a few minutes late
4:00pm - Clocked in just on time!
10:24pm - Walked in the door at home after a long 6 hours...

Whew! What a day! Now that I've allowed myself to wind down a little, I think I'm finally ready for bed... Good night all!
