End of OT...

And, by "OT" I don't mean "over-time" but the "Old Testament"... Yep, today marks the day when I finally finished reading through the Old Testament...all the way through...starting at Genesis and ending with Malachi... It was definitely an amazing journey! God has shown me SO much... I'm excited to start reading through the Gospels again and the rest of the New Testament afterwards now that I have all this background knowledge from what I've read previously in the Old Testament...so neat-o! God is good!

Something that stood out to me while reading through Malachi:

"My covenant was with him (Levi), a covenant of life and peace, and I gave them to him; this called for reverence and he revered me and stood in awe of my name. True instruction was in his mouth and nothing false was found on his lips. He walked with me in peace and uprightness, and turned many from sin." Malachi 2:5-6

What beautiful words coming from God's mouth about a person! What compliments!

Lord, help me to be more like You... Help me to walk in "peace and uprightness"... Help my actions, thoughts, and words to be pleasing to you, Lord... So, that You'll be given the glory and honor You deserve...and so that I can one day hear You say, "Well done, good and faithful servant"...
