Consistency...

It was so neat reading through the first two chapters of Matthew today and seeing how many times, just in those short chapters, the Old Testament was quoted! I loved being able to recognize the Scriptures...remembering that I'd read those words before from the different prophets when they'd recorded them many, many years before Jesus was even born... Here's a list of who was quoted:

- Isaiah
- Jeremiah
- Micah
- Hosea
- Jeremiah (again)

Thank You, Lord, that Your Word is true...that it's so complete...and that the message is the same all the way through the Bible... Thank You that You never change - You're always the same...that You and Your Word are so very consistent... Thank You that You had a plan for us all along...
