I Love It When God Does That...

You know, when He totally surprises you by taking certain ideas or events that have been happening around you lately...or taking things you've read in the Word recently...and making everything all tie together and make sense... Like, yesterday at church...when Sean was preaching about the Beatitudes...and including that as the second part in his "Pauper King" series about celebrating Jesus' birth... And, how I'd just happened to be reading and re-reading the Beatitudes at home myself...and researching different views and commentaries on the subject... It just amazes me at how the Holy Spirit makes the "light bulb come on"...and makes you say, "Oh, I get it!" And, how He can use everyday things around us to help it all come together in one big picture...all pointing always to Him!

Thank You, Lord, for leaving us Your Holy Spirit...to guide us...and impart wisdom to us...and reveal Yourself to us! Thank You that You never give up on us...that You're always ready to teach us something new...if we'll just open our hearts and humble ourselves and allow You to do Your work... And, thank You, for just how cool You are in working around us!
