Shopp-ing, Decorat-ing (Cookies), and Relax-ing...

"Shopp-ing:" Yesterday, Scott and I spent a few hours at Babies'R'Us, roaming the aisles for all the items we still needed so we'd be prepared to bring Baby Ross home... And, I think our list is pretty much complete in that department now... I think we both feel better, knowing that all we have to do now is just wash the clothes and blankets in Dreft and pack them away till we're ready... I still can't believe it's all coming so soon!

"Decorat-ing" (Cookies): Last night, we went over to James and Ashley's house to hang out and watch a marathon of Christmas movies... They'd baked and cut out a bunch of sugar cookies for the "kids" to decorate with icing and sprinkles...but since it took a while for everyone to arrive, Scott jumped right in, and did a really great job decorating tree and stocking-shaped cookies! Thanks to all the practice he had from his mom putting him to work as a kid decorating her baking projects, he's practically a pro... And, of course, they tasted yummy, too!

"Relax-ing:" Today, Sunday, I think we're just going to relax and enjoy a lazy afternoon before Scott has to go back to work again tomorrow...and the routine starts all over... So, here's to snacking and napping and just doing "nothing...
