A Long Day...

Yep, today was a LONG day...but very productive and fun... After not sleeping well last night thanks to my husband and his crazy dreams, I got up and got ready and attended the "New Parents" class at Wilford Hall early this morning... Lots of interesting tips and things I had absolutely no clue about, so I was glad I went... I came home and finished wrapping some presents... Then, I ate lunch...and afterward, I spent the better part of two hours, searching for paperwork we needed to fax to our mortgage consultant so she could start the closing process for the house... I sent the fax with Dad's help...and then, he and I started working on preparing the dinner for the evening...(it needed to simmer for an hour and a half or so) While the "mucka licka" cooked...(the delicious Yugoslavian pork and peppers mixture we were having for dinner!)...I baked some more cookies... And, after dinner, I finished up those cookies and started baking some others...(with the help of Mom, my brother, and my nephew!) Everything turned out delicious...and we were all SO ready for bed by the end...

Oh, and as a side note: my poor husband - he was at the dentist for 6 hours today! Scott came home with an extremely sore mouth...and swollen lips...and barely choked down ice cream to have something soft to eat... Poor guy! He went in to have some bridge work done, and they said he needed an emergency root canal as well...OUCH... Hopefully, he'll be feeling better tomorrow... Please keep him in your prayers!
