This past Sunday, the 13th of January, marked 7 years for Scott and I's marriage! I can't believe it's been 7 years already... Time really does fly! We've really learned so much about each other...and have grown so much as well...and we still have tons more learning and growing to do! I'm so thankful that God blessed me with Scott for a husband... We have our "up's and down's" just like any other marriage, but God knew just what He was doing when He picked Scott to be my loving life partner - Scott's the perfect match and balances me out just right!
We actually celebrated our anniversary on Saturday instead, the day before... We relaxed in the morning, and then went to a couples' massage in the afternoon, which was wonderful! Afterward, Scott and I went over to Hallmark and bought my anniversary present - "Promise" from the Willow Tree figurine collection...(it's the one of the couple dancing...it's SO pretty...and I've wanted it for years...) We then went home, took showers, and got ready...and went out to a nice dinner at Zio's Italian Kitchen...YUM! The food was delicious...but the conversation was the best! It was so nice to just sit down and talk and share ideas with one another... It had been a while since we'd done that... After dinner, we drove over to catch a movie at the Live Oak Theater, but we got there a little too early... So, we walked around a nearby store...and then headed over to the "Cold Stone Creamery" for some ice cream... I was able to finish my ice cream while we waited in line to get our movie tickets...and then, we were off to watch "Enchanted," that cute new movie from Disney... And, indeed...it really was cute! We had such a nice day and evening together! It'll definitely be an anniversary to remember...

Happy Anniversary! Cold Stone Creamery...mmmmm......
Sounds like it was a great anniversary! Congratulations to you and Scott - you're a wonderful & fun couple :)
Steph, I'm so glad you both had a great anniversary! I'm so glad the baby wasn't born on it! :) Now you're safe! I jsut want you to both know how much we love you- you are just amazing friends who we can be ourselves around and we are missing you terribly and wishing we could be around to see all the changes in your life up close (like the baby). But we are so blessed that we're still in contact and can read updates through this blog! We love you and pray for you continuously.
