Small Group at the Ross Home...

Well, it went pretty well, I think... Kassia hasn't been feeling well, so it took a little longer than normal to try and put her down to sleep after feeding her...(and then, she didn't sleep for very long...but at least she didn't wake up till near the prayer time at the end...) It's still just us and the McCord's and the Wheat's, but I'm kind of glad there wasn't anyone new last night, since it was our first time hosting and we're still working out the "kinks"... God will fill the "open chair" with the right people at the right time... And, the whole childcare thing will get figured out eventually, too... The upstairs is still a LONG way from being presentable, but I'm making the loft/game room area my first priority (now that Kassia's room is finished)...so hopefully, I'll be done setting it up soon, and it'll be a fun place for the kids to play... All the adults got to share a little something during our discussion time...and there were plenty of snacks to eat and plenty of room to hang out and fellowship afterwards... So, overall, I think it's going to be a lot of fun and a really neat experience once things get smoothed out... And, I just have to remember to fix healthy snacks for the next few months for a few of our small group members who are on diets... (but when the diet time's over, we're going to have a "big ole' fatty and tasty" feast to celebrate!)
