So, my mom came by the house today, and as an early Mother's Day present, helped me straighten and clean the bottom floor of my house to get it ready for our first small group meeting tomorrow night... She's such a saint! And, it was even more appreciated today of all days, since Kassia's not feeling well... (she went to the doctor's this afternoon, and he thinks she's right at the beginning of either her first cold or her first flu... Poor baby!) Mom brought out her yellow rubber gloves and went to work scrubbing everything! She did the dishes...cleaned the kitchen...and cleaned the bathroom, too... And, when I had to leave to take Kassia to her appointment, she stayed behind and finished up by vacuuming! I'm so blessed...and grateful!
Thanks, Mom, for the sweet and thoughtful gift! What a great way to celebrate my very first Mother's Day! I love you so much...

Aww, how sweet! I know how you feel, my mom is the best (to me) :) She has stayed behind while i've gone to work before to clean up my house or even take something out of the oven since I didn't have time to stick around. Moms are the best :) And you're one! I can't believe it! I hope you have a great mother's day!
Can't wait to hear how your first small group meeting goes!
